    Raw Cocoa Protein Balls: No Sugar, No Butter, No Gluten

    These raw cocoa balls are so quick and easy to make. No baking required, they just need to be cooled in the fridge prior to serving. These raw cocoa balls contain chocolate whey protein powder and raw cocoa to give it a chocolate taste and are sweetened with a few dates.

    60g of chocolate whey protein powder
    1 egg whisked
    3 tbs flaxseed meal
    1 cup of desiccated coconut
    2 tbs coconut oil
    1/2 cup of sunflower seed/pumpkin seed mix blended into powder
    5 dates blended in boiling water
    2 tsp of raw cocoa powder


    Boil kettle, add dates to blender with a dash of boiling water and blend into a paste
    Melt coconut oil in a glass or small bowl in microwave or heat in a pan
    Whisk one egg in a large bowl while coconut oil melting
    Combine all wet ingredients together in a bowl
    Add flaxseed meal, blended seed mix, protein powder and raw cocoa powder to wet ingredients and stir well
    Place wet ingredients in freezer for approximately 10 minutes to harden
    Spread desiccated coconut on a plate
    Spoon mixture out with a tablespoon onto plate, roll chocolate balls in coconut then roll into a ball
    When completed store in fridge until ready to serve
